The subject requires the conditions to be articulated properly ;)
I see the resistance to religion by biologists at a positive thing, as part of the overall pushback to the anti science agenda of religion in general, and creationism, in particular. Scientists are just exactly the people who should be speaking out. The only negative that I see, is that while scientists are talking about religion, they are not doing science.Unfortunately, scientists think that communicators of science, like Carl Sagan, are not real.scientists, and that is what is happening with Gould and Noble.
The coal industry has always proclaimed to find more efficient ways of capturing the hydrocarbons they produce to become more environmentally viable. Clean Coal is an absolute joke in my opinion no different than the push for ethanol by the Bush Administration based on the fact it takes more energy to produce ethanol than you get from burning it. Capturing the majority of hydrocarbons produced by coal power plants and using energy intensive method to compress it so they can store it thousands of feet below the surface of the earth is absolute stupidity in my opinion. We have enough problems with the methane released into the atmosphere from melting permafrost without dealing with inefficient fossil fuels like coal. I mention coal because I see the same lack of interest in dealing with the nuclear waste, its the same story just different source of problems only nuclear waste can cause multi-generational repercussions similar to Japan. Given the fact that 70% of earth is covered by water we should consider what viable land we have as the earth approaches 8 billion people in reference to food production and water sources that could be impacted by nuclear contamination.
Yay, Yvonne, my better Dopple!
Doctrine which is entirely moot if you don't discuss the people who read it.
No, unlike you, I passed science class. You failed it.
Good evening to you!...
Homosexuality is a Sin just like lying. Not sure if your breaking both.
'Evangelizing' has such a negative connotation. I prefer 'educating'.
Really? Who'd you vote for?
Yessssss! A third man has told me to read it. I read it in 3rd grade like everyone else!!! Good lord...
