I'm sorry the question was pretty clear...please what part confuses you?
Well yeah, almost everything in the study of early Christianity is disputed by someone. It's a controversial field. My point was, though, that only a fundamentalist would use Acts as some kind of evidence for the historical Jesus, and I've never even read any of them do that.
That isn't true in my case. Most of us are ex-Christians. Islam easily has the most barbaric adherents, made barbaric by believing all of it.
Are you asking my opinion?
First, I've never seen you even close to another subject. Maybe it's happened, maybe it hasn't, but if you ever put up a single post that wasn't about race, I missed it. Second, who says it was about race? You, and other race-baiters who think that if you say something negative about a black person that it's because of their skin color, that's who. This whole idea that racism is at the core of every criticism of non-whites is retarded bullshit. Third, he was well within his rights to doubt the verdict. You don't have to like it, either, and it doesn't make him racist.
Rebel - it's like - how stupid can two people be (in the school)....educators (smh)
Yea I know.... such issues has got me into many troubled waters you could say haha in trying to defend the CP's.
Good to hear, thanks!
"Most scientists (in practice at least) don't adhere to physical necessity as you do."
Oh, I have a million of them, babycakes. :)
If someone walks in and wants an industrial-sized, double-ended dildo then Butch would do well to just sell the thing post haste to the consenting adult customer. A business open to the general public is no place for discrimination between orifices of competing religion, race, or sex.
I have no sympathy when I see the tax paying citizens taking a political official to task. Especially when this person supports sanctuary states (If you know anything about whats happening in California right now regarding illegal immigration you would understand the concern of LEGAL law abiding californian conservatives who have to live, work and study in shit and drug infested cities all while being ramsacked by illegal immigrants coming and going from the border as they please)
A lot of atheists would like to use Christianity as shield against Islam. It, however, was not meant for that so far as I can tell. A secular society creates a spiritual vacuum, and Islam is more than happy to fill the void. They have done so with remarkable success in Europe.
There is no Biblical basis for Mary's age to be listed as 12. The truth is, we do not know how old she was at this time. Also, Mary had sin, for she testifies that God is her Savior in Luke's Gospel. Quit inventing stories and inserting them into the Bible.
Yeah, diabetes is hilarious.
You can't prove your "truth" is the correct one.
I have no idea what you're talking about.
Apparently you didn't read retired Episcopal Bishop John Shelby Spong's book "Rescuing the Bible from Fundamentalism" since he makes the same claim although he doesn't also claim that Paul's special friend Luke was also homosexual like I do.Don't worry about Paul since Jesus supposed forgave Paul for all Paul's sins including Paul's homosexuality. If that's all you have, excuse me while a enjoy a day of debauchery already forgiven by Jesus.
Looks like you have a very confused rationale.
Call it what you want....he didn't serve and has no business criticizing the war record of anyone who did. And my prior assertion about the far-fight smearing the service records of others for political purposes still stands. For the record I did NOT vote for John Kerry and didn't support him. However the Swift boat allegations were discredited and shown to be for political purposes....many of those questioning Kerry's war record were not anywhere in the vicinity during the time and lace he was serving. The attacks on McCain about the Forestall tragedy, as well as his time in a POW camp are all political smear tactics from the far right.
Wrong, it started when Constantine made all other religions illegal and made discussing religion a capitol crime. Religions are all a myth.
Th first link does not back you up and the second states the idea it is mark has been rejected. Now what is neat is they did find parts of Mark from about 90 CE in a deathmask in 2015. This predates the oldest confirmed fragment by 50 years or more. Sadly, it is likely to be years before we know how close it is to the other fragment ( s we know the gospel of Mark changed over time) but it is very interesting
He's licking something more tender than his boots.
Wow. Well, I appreciate your sympathy, but I promise it's not that crucial.
You aren't keeping up with your own comments :) Just read back through them.
