?I do not hold it to be sacred, and think that killing is often justified? Except we aren?t talking about killing in the name of justice. We are talking about the mass slaughter of millions of INNOCENT lives.
Josephus refers to the Pharisees, Sadducees and the Essenes as "philosophies" - they didn't really operate like political parties. Also, for Jews living during this time (particularly in Jerusalem), there wasn't really a distinction between political and religious. Those who held political power were also religious leaders. They operated like a theocracy. They never would have identified any distinction between political or religious the way we do today. Every action they took was in light of their religious views, so even political decisions were made with their religious views in mind.
My point is that any "faithful Christian" today would agree that slavery is wrong, per se. Wrong enough to fight wars over.
"It is like if I don't like an OP, I don't comment on it" - I get, you don't like it. Then why comment?
Yes, it doesn't say the specific words "separation of church and state", but the First Amendment has been routinely held up as said separation clause.
I would guess that the part that you consider "fair minded" was the first paragraph, which is simply stating the Christian view. As soon as he strayed from what you've been taught, it turned into a "rant".
I live near Gary, and the kids there can see the steel mills from their doorsteps, but they can't get jobs there, and they can't afford college to get white collar jobs.
I can understand women wanting women only classes. Maybe they are self conscious and feel that men are too judging. I don't think a men's only class is necessary.
Thank you for the correction Jero! I was thinking as I put the OP together "Jero's gonna know this better than me"
This law wasn't a mess till trump enforce it in April . lol
> "Jesus Christ. Sanders hasn't missed a meal in a long time. Get over it."
Whoops, you are right. I may be mistaken about who you are.
Hahahah If thats the case please tell us why he hasn't released his tax returns. I can't wait.
I don't disagree that democracy does eventually become mob rule, which is why I specifically posted it was an attempt to govern themselves.
Hippocrates is considered the Father of Medicine
Theism. The conceit that god created a two trillion galaxy universe just for us.
I don't think Baltimore, Philly, DC or the entire east cost is overpopulation so much as insane-ass congestion. If it were overpopulation the entirety of the USA would have traffic jams.
An Atheist does good because it's the right thing to do.
I didn't inquire about any specific doctors, just a general inquiry to the licensing boards of all 50 states. While some did not respond, among those that did, none could tell me that any actions were taken against any licensed practitioner in their state regarding change therapy.
Yea, but once it starts getting too political, it becomes just like all the rest of the channels. You?ll have very strong opinions (which is totally cool) stated in a very aggressive attack mode (which is not cool). If people are looking to state something like ?I?m so sick of all these cops....? or ?people who don?t like Hilary (or more taxes, open borders, etc., are ignorant racist bigots...?, or ?people who don?t like trump are unamerican and want hand-outs?, then let them use one of the gazzilion other channels looking for that stuff. It seems we?ve forgotten there was actually a world where we all had friends with different values or opinions, but it didn?t matter. We got along and still managed to enjoy each other?s company. We disagreed and still managed not to call each other names. And, the only time we ever had to hear ?...but, he/she did it first!? was when it was coming out of our child?s mouth, as we would scold them that it didn?t matter. Love stinks has been a nice break from all that crap. And, the political stuff to this point has always presented as an opportunity to really listen to why people I enjoy think the way they do, and to learn something. We haven?t had to get hard core bulldog with each other. So, just my two cents, but I?d hate to see that happen.
So let me see if I have this correctly. The excuses are: "Muh Christians."
My problem with that comment is that Muslims are "over there" and Christian are "over here".
