I read and enjoyed Bart Ehrman's response to Richard Carrier's review of his book. Carrier certainly came across as nitpicking rather than being objective.
Hawking made the claim that science makes God unnecessary, but fails to coherently backup that argument with any evidence whatsoever. So, if I use your reasoning, rejecting Hawkings claim in turn makes God necessary?

As another male who was forced to sit through much of the royal wedding by his female of choice, I think it was a predominantly politically geared wedding. The royal family have clearly chosen to go as PC and new age as possible in order to remain relevant in a world that cares about them increasingly less and that they seem to recognise and understand increasingly less.

No, they are not "stuck." They CHOOSE to remain where they are. I give you the examples of people from Central America who walked, took cheap buses, etc., over 1,000 miles with only the HOPE of bettering their lives. (NO, this is not about immigration; it is about people making choices.)

As a disciple of Christ, I welcome my Jewish fellow believers in God. I welcome Bahais, Hindus, Mormons, many, many fine people. Most Muslims I know are fine people, and some are my spiritual brothers and sisters.
