If I don't get cake, no one gets cake. A shame their gas line had not been inspected.
I would imagine so. I'd ask for one if I finished second.
I'd be okay with that. Some neighborhoods in Detroit are improving btw.
I'm not a progressive. At least not in your definition of the word. I'm a centrist that gets that poverty is a complicated issue.
But not granting the same right is obviously only of application to Muslims. And we have two excellent examples of the origin and application of that. In the first century of Islam, when it was under the Ummayads, there were Christians serving with the Muslim armies, and even as officers in command of Muslim and Christian troops. They, their families, and occasionally even their home village were exempted from Jazriya. And after the Ottoman reforms, there were Christians serving in the Ottoman armies, and even as officers. In The 40 days of Musa Dagh, which is basedupon real incidents witnessed by a German missionary, a Christian Ottoman officer of medium rank (Major or Colonel) takes command of the defense of Musa Dagh (Mountain of Moses) along the southern shore of Turkey, against the Ottoman forces attacking the Christians as part of the massacres during WW1. When you served in the army, you didn't have to pay the military exemption tax because you paid the tax in blood, rather than money. The US actually had a similar law during the Civil War, which was a way for Quakers and other pacifists to not serve. If you paid $300 dollars you would not be drafted. And often the military used that $300 to pay a bonus to new immigrants to serve. During WW2, those Filipinos who served were granted US citizenship and their descendants, because they had an American parent.
With friends like the EU, who needs enemies.
did you say something?
Not really in the future though. That rate will be 12 percent overall in Europe by 2050 and likely will be over 20 percent of France by then. With a decline in Christianity by people leaving religion and by lowered birth rates of Christian or formerly Christian Europeans, what will 2100 Paris look like? I don't care about numbers of Hispanics in America or Africans in Europe and I don't care if the population of the world is completely brown in 3000 AD. I care about preserving freedoms that Muslims and other religious people oppose on the grounds of religious beliefs.
I've know the verse,'Jesus Wept'.
Let me ask you a question do you believe that history and archeology are hard sciences?
so we should accuse trump of being anti-american and bully his wife over her appearance and speech, i mean, fair is fair, right?
Nope. It is just an analogy to help us humans understand. It is no more magical that the chemistry that produces soap.
Plus half a staircase and some gravel.
Eh, I'll probably be around something like around a 5, possibly going down to a 1. I'm pretty convinced that God of God fame is not interested in tricking people, presenting misleading evidence, hiding, or otherwise preventing reasonable people from finding Him. I'm also pretty convinced that such a God would not be interested in making finding Him an obstacle course where you need to make some sort of unjustified leap of logic to get to the *real* proof.
Get it girl!!
My most cherished teachers are outside, and as I learn more, it awakens the teacher inside...
I don't know anymore that I agree with the misogynistic nature of history. There has certainly been a powerful Herstory if you know where to look. Ishtar, Isis, Aphrodite, Venus, T'iamat even Mary have all been revered and worshiped more than their male counters. When it comes to treatment, yes, women were the booty of war but young men have always been its fodder. Is it worse/better to be penetrated or lose a limb in the days before morphine? There is no better or worse to the human story. Just different. Sorry, I'm contemplative today. Forgive me for being droll.
What is more important than shaping the next generation? I?d say we need more of that, judging from society today...
Seems to me that Christians don?t practice slavery. I wonder what that indicates?
Ah, that's the word I was looking for thanks Yvonne. Yes, I know there were people smashing his cds outside of his trial years ago. I want to know what holding him accountable looks like, I guess. I still like his music - I don't like him. The same way as I like some Woody Allen films -- but I don't like him. Also, R. Kelly has produced music for other artists I like. So that's the conundrum here.
