"Even scientists have this point of view"
We've discovered that particles behave wildly differently than large clumps of matter. Does that count as supernatural?
Interesting standard you have for your self. Lower then the one you set for Trump . Sounds like personal issue.
Not that I'm a fan of Howard Stern do you have any factual information that supports your claims or are you just wildly throwing out rumors like most of these people if you want to talk about this and see what happened to having sufficient evidence before making what I assume is baseless rumors and character defamation no offense just trying to be analytical about this LOL
Isolated figures deflect from the major theme here. The point is FGM prevails by a very high percentage in Muslim nations, communities, or whatever you wish to call them. Islam itself does nothing to discourage it. It simply shrugs it shoulders and goes on. Homosexuality is supposedly taboo, but it is practiced all over the place. In Afghanistan, parading young boys around as one's personal sex toy is a symbol of status and prestige. But, it isn't limited to only that country.
He isn't here.
Heaven on Earth baby
Is your point that we are getting inexorably better as the years go by? Why, how wonderful, James, that you can join me on the side of reason. Oh, wait, you're going to suggest that the way we've got better is with a supernatural kicker, I suppose... when, quite to the contrary, one of the things that has slowed us down the most is the idiotic notion that we should cling to the moral precepts invented in just those dark times that you mention.
Lol. You state that as though you?re trying to convince yourself it true, which makes it even funnier because Trump has already lost the voters previously on the fence who wouldn?t vote for Hillary. Trump did that to himself with his actions, nothing more. Also, the Dunning Kruger effect is taught in high school, probably not in your hillbilly town but in most affluent neighborhoods within the country. Based on the conversation, you clearly don?t even understand what it means as it doesn?t pertain to our conversation, which further proves ?stupid people don?t realize they?re stupid? and you?re definitively no scholar pipsqueak. People like you mistake confidence for arrogance regularly because you?ve been shit on your entire life. Those of us that make smart choices with our lives frustrate people like you that aren?t ?economically viable?, hence your discontent. This doesn?t mean you can?t make meaningful changes to create a higher standard of living for yourself, but my past experience with your low intellect demographic has taught me you simply don?t have the ambition or work ethic. ;)
I'm so sorry for you both. It's good that she has you and you, her.
Calling someone a "Texas sharpshooter" is not a logical fallacy, nor anything more elevated. As far as intelligence is concerned, it actually engages the moral realm and the question of "appropriateness" as an actual form of epistemology, with intelligence reflecting conduct. As in the ideas of emotional and social intelligence.
You should read his book, How Jesus Become God. Ehrman talks about how there are degrees of divinity, and originally, Jesus was not thought of as God the Father.
I was late 2 days in a row because of construction... My personal procedure is if you are going to be late bring donuts. I need to leave earlier... Ughhhhj.
Yeah, Ace. Behavior like murdering people, fomenting ethnic violence, imprisoning homosexuals - you know, all those things I mentioned in that first paragraph you find so extremely long. As for suggesting the intellectually deficient, your position continues to be that those who do the above should
Sects and cults are no different to established religions other than the being accepted and established part. Christianity would have been no different as an offshoot of Judaism (sect) and not accepted originally (cult)
Driving up wages increases inflation and increases prices due to increased demand which requires the Fed to increase interest rates which moves money into the bond market, a net cumulative effect of driving down GDP and other growth rates. Additionally, with more cash to spend, consumers will be buying foreign goods which of course drives up the balance of trade deficit from countries like China.
I could be very mistaken about this, but if memory serves, abortion and birth control via "makeshift" condoms and elixirs pre-dated Israel and go back to Egypt. A weak case can probably be made that, since the biblical writers would have been aware of these methods, they would have condemned them if they offended moral taste. Again, iirc, I know of no biblical text that overtly mentions, much less, condemns, abortion. Pro-lifers typically refer to a Psalm or some other text whose author says something to the effect of "I thank God for wonderfully forming me in the womb", and "God knew me from the womb" or some such wording, which supposedly "proves" that YHWH would have been, at least implicitly, against abortion, since He sees persons and personhood already existing in the womb. But that's probably another weak case...
