Let's say I asked you for advice on whether I should pay my taxes. You advised that if I am a taxpayer, I should. I say that I don't know if I am a tax payer. You say that a court could decide for me. I say that I would like to know before I risk going to jail. You say I am . I ask why... (cue your argument)
One of the fun char I played was a very religious man, who believed souls could not move to a new body with mind uploading. That the upload would be a soul less copy and not a real person. And he woke up after his death in a cheap robotic body with an indenture to pay off and struggled with the concept of his soul, his faith and if he was really him or just a soulless copy.
That's an old Crypto-Musliim critique of Christianity.
Didn't Christ tell the harlot "go and sin no more"?
Got that "Who me"? look... :)
It's RUDE to "IGNORE" people when the talk to you. Didn't your mommy teach you that?
What word did they use according to you, may I ask?
Oh, yes...And I can prove it.
"On a scale of 0-100, just how sure are you that a Creator of the universe exists?"
The thing that might scare you is you may find yourself happy at a new position after getting through the interviews. :)
You're talking about a belief. If a white baker thinks it's abhorrent for a white person to marry a black person and then they refuse to bake them a wedding cake, that's no different than a Christian baker refusing to bake a cake for a homosexual wedding.
Uuummm. You know that because some people are so frick'n stupid they didn't get the correct restaurant other restaurants suffered. So because stupid people do stupid things this business owner shouldn't make her own statement? Really? She should do something she believes is wrong because of stupid people?
You need to research how the Nazis treated the Jews before WW11. There are a lot of similarities that Democrats are showing. It's not a matter of we can't take it but its an infringement on our rights. You're for civil rights aren't you. If you support Maxine Waters' plan of harassment of conservatives just because they're conservatives then you're not for civil rights.
Or, replace them with individuals that conduct themselves respectfully.
:D Oh, no problem, TFCC. I'm the kind who likes to share! I still have to go thru them as I was busy the rest of yesterday and haven't had a chance to take a good (detailed) look. I still need to read down thru your here, too. Will reply later. :)

GOD?S WORD Translation (GW)
I am not an illegal, NEVER been arrested...
Don't forget the lovely and talented Reverend Jeremiah Wright!
And filing charges against a person based upon who they are is equally illegal.
You never answered my question, what do you call a person who doesn't believe there is a God?
Gee you forgot to call me stupid and a moron and that I need to jump off of a cliff
Even if you use such a vague definition, it doesn't fit. "Prejudice" is forming an opinion of someone not based on experience or reason - what's been described is not an opinion of a person. And being nervous around someone is definitely not "discrimination".
Anyone voting for Ford, has no brains.
Nope. Nothing of the kind.
My brother in law is what I guess you would call "low-tech" some kind of support services for Microsoft through a contractor. They have ix month contracts so he is sometimes out of work for months at a time. His co-workers are all being replaced by East Indians who get lower wages and poor working conditions, like being out of state for months at a time, which he cannot do because he has a family.
If Exodus happened, where is the evidence? Why don't you believe the Book of Mormon in that case?
"really ignorant in the math department I see."
That is hilarious!
Then, by default, you don't really believe in the Bible.
Thanks for the comment, Dynbrake. Yes, I am aware of that interpretation. I woudn't say "within" (or either) is a "false interpretation" since it is, after all, used in the KJV and various other translations. So it's a reasonable translation of a tricky word, in any case. And of course no original texts for Luke were written in English, so whatever interpretation we use in English necessary involve some shift in meaning since languages do not map cleanly to one another. Such is the nature of translation. Like everyone, I imagine, both you and I are looking for the most insightful and "closest to original" translation we can get.
What makes you think he didn?t?
What is useful about faith? The Christian has faith they are correct. The Hindu has faith he is correct. The Muslim has faith his point of view is correct. The white supremacist has faith he is correct. The flat earth believers have faith they are correct. All these examples have faith and it seems no evidence to the contrary will convince them to come to a different conclusion. How is that beneficial or a good thing?
Take a pic of your dinner if you get a chance. Haven't tried this one yet.
I already skimmed through your post. As I do with all of them. And I read less and less each time because each and every time, without fail, they're terrible. And they're terrible for all the reasons people with time to spare in the comments point out to you
