I understand if you don't believe that Jesus was God, but I think I should point out that his existence is a historical fact. I also believe you meant to say that your claim was backed by history. Except it's not. The truth is that a man named Jesus walked on Earth and upset the local authorities with the things he said and was put to death for it. The question was never if he existed, but if he was God.
And that's why in each case, it's for a court of law to determine.
"(1) the size of the universe -- if the universe were created for us, why do we only inhabit .0000000000000000000001% of it?
Well she is at a Padres game, you dont really have much to be excited for and alcohol eases the pain.
I've already mentioned one of the best of them, who looks at it differently, its just that he thinks in a higher level of understanding
Here ya go lil feller. You are in dire need I see.
I'm posting the following as a short list of not-too-bright things some atheists say. Not all of them are really arguments, but there is an argument embedded in each of them. I'm not going to debate these points, I'm simply listing them.
Fact remain no CONTEMPORARY historian noted anything about him.
i wonder who the fbi voted for....
Oh sensitive, hypocritical Smiley. How difficult it must be to willfully ignore reality.
Ewww that?s disgusting. Listening or seeing other people puke makes me puke too.
Look What up? I gave you an example of a real case. You claim it's not possible. What is there to look up?
I think empathy is intuitive. Thus the golden rule.
Almost forgot my throwback...
Who ordered the firing of cruise missiles in the direction of Bin Laden to deflect from the Lewinsky scandal? Osama took offence for some strange reason!
Let?s try another Dawkins quote:
I can find no evidence whatsoever Himmler's uncle was a Jesuit or that the SS uniform was an imitation of the Jesuits.
Take 4 freebie days off - you're owed!
That's one of the biggest problems with Leftards - they're under the impression that if they say something stupid with enough conviction, everyone else is as dumb and gullible as they are and will believe it. I don't really blame them, though, to be honest, because they aren't smart enough to wrap their head around someone not being as stupid as they are.
"who blindly accepts anything that confirms what you are already sure of and never bother to find out for yourself."
Who started this topic? The conversations in general seemed pretty civil and thoughtful!
Exactly, we also need more research on it. The more you know about things the less there is to fear about it. For so long people with mental illness were hidden away from society, it's gotten better, but we still have a long way to go.
What you have there is a Senator who warned you all not to rule by executive fiat, and nuclear option when you were in power. Now you're reaping what you sowed.
No trolling there.
Any loss in your eyes can be counted as an overwhelming victory in reality, so I thank you.
When a flower blooms it is radiant in it's beauty. What is beauty if not something Divine?
Today? No contest. It's so obvious I'm not even going to say it.
Angels were Jewish??? LOL
Perhaps we should define what we mean by faith first. I see faith as belief in something without sufficient evidence to demonstrate its accuracy.
Don't get divorced late in life. If I win the power ball as planned I will be able to cut back to part time hours when I'm 87.
Admitting to whom? A website survey?
There exists some knowledge, but it's by no means "secret" (as you requested). Here's one example of it: the Spanish Inquisition.
