I guess what I'm saying is: The frequency of the crime shouldn't affect the punishment for that crime to prevent it from happening, especially you're just talking about prevention.
Correct, we have very good reasons to not believe Smith. We know him and his character. It?s good to know who writes and claim things.
Never read the Tenth Amendment, I take it.
Oh holy Hell...
The feeling is mutual. :-)
If the false claim resulted in someone going to jail not only should there be no caps to the amount the person can sue the state, but that person should do the same amount of jail time as the person locked up. That said, I don't think this is that commonplace. Having to go to court and tell a jury about your rape is almost as traumatic as the rape (trust me). Most women--no, most humans would not want to go into a courtroom and fake a story like this. IMO.
"All animals are equal, but some are more equal."..... It's been that way for many Millennia... We have ALWAYS Lived that way and I challenge you to find a time when we didn't live in an Orwellian World...
In my perfect stateless world or at least minarchist (local governments that adjudicate through consensus) abortion would be a personal matter that I would never have to know about. I don't think that government should intervene for or against it. Certain things should NEVER be in the hands of government EVEN if it will agree with me. Government shouldn't tell you who to marry, what to do with your body, or how to raise your children.
"How are they going to launch the possibly ONE and have it hit a target without getting obliterated?"
Just make sure to put on a washer before placing the screw in the nut. In this day and age protection is a must.
sending your son to heaven is a tragedy, in your mind?
First, you didn't answer my question. Second, no, only military personnel and government officials are to be held to any standard. Why is an athlete held to a higher standard? By virtue of what, throwing around a ball?
