I wasn't passing judgment (as we sit here on an OP about our favorite sins...), I merely was wondering what the thrill would be of cursing something that you don't believe exists.
So, is this Christian "call to arms" the position of all Christians, i.e. a platform that wants to deny basic health care and a livable wage to US citizens while supporting a current administration that is the embodiment of immorality?
More likely 'asked to resign' as the polite way of saying 'You're fired.' In addition, the Red Hen has lost income while shut down. Good. We don't need people like her in our country.

It is relevant, because Islamic world couldn't create anything significant by its own, and when they ran out of weak neighbours to rob and clever dhimmis to exploit, it collapsed.
Are you an abortionist too?! :)
What shape did we think the Earth was in the 50s?
All kinds of reasons. Emotion. Conflict. Hate. Sadness. Rejection. Incredulousness. Etc. "Asking questions" is probably not the biggest reason for lack of belief.
Actually that credit can mostly be given to the Russians.
Not sure, but I'm betting it's much more complicated than you or I can understand...
A doctorate in post doctoral studies? What is that?
That's fallacious reasoning. It's not that I disagree about his motivation, but it's the result that matters. His theory either stands on its own merits, or it doesn't. Autobiographical and psychological appeals have no place in evaluating these merits.
Not really. Some "theists" believe what the Bible teaches (not many....) and follow its direction to obey the laws of the land (when they don't contradict God's laws) and live peacefully with everyone as "no part of the world." They actually get along with all races and nationalities as their "ruler" is not those who are no different than any other human, but Christ. Right, wrong or otherwise, it works when no other nation has been able to accomplish it.
No, you said, "April was the coldest since 1895." It was not.
Wrong. No one is born homosexual.
See that is the Liberal party as it used to be. It was why it was so popular. Fiscally responsible but with a social side too. But only if it could afford to do so. It's gone far too left now and that turns a lot of people off. Maybe with this house clearing they can regroup and get back to where they should be on the political and fiscal scale.

It is the very fact that certainty regarding "metaphysical truths" is not possible which leads empiricists, such as Aristotle, to their conclusion. In exactly the same way that false conclusions can be drawn from sense data, so too can falsehoods be arrived at by flawed reasoning. This certain metaphysical
No, how did that improve things with regard to being non-violent?
Reporter asked Maxine today:
You do realize there is a range of positions between "all guns all the time" and "take all the guns away."? Right?
You are regurgitating and projecting.
The correct solution is a "TAD writes an erotic novel" thread, where we collaborate to complete the story.
First off, the separation of church and state as referred to by Thomas Jefferson, the writer of the Constitution.
Meh. It was for the best. I'm not going to lie...I did still carry a torch for him for quite a while. Not being around him and not talking to him helped me bury those old feelings.
Hi George, welcome to the conversation! The gospels are written from 4 different perspectives and are believed to be originally penned around 70 ad, tho most of the transcripts we use today are believed to be written sometime during the 4th century. Personally, I believe that they are full of inconsistancies and contradictions largely due to inserted text by the catholic monks who transcribed during the time when leaders of the day desired more fire and brimstone to convince new "converts" during the Crusades.
yes, that doesnt answer to the crown.
There has never been any evolution whatsoever.
Unless they sell their grief for political purposes
Seems someone is looking at John 3:1-17 in advance of Trinity Sunday, the first Sunday after Pentecost where Jesus uses understanding the wind as a example of worldly things that are unexplained, so why is it surprising its hard to explain spiritual things?
that is not patriotism. Try again. Incidentally, when you're at home preparing for a ballgame with your snacks and beers, do you and your buddies stand for the national anthem, or are only athletes required to do so?
