Indeed, he would be a fool to shackle himself to a woman. It would end in tears.
You asked so what and seemed to require further explanation.
Hmmmm... I find it curious that a nation that prides itself on individual freedoms and rights has legislation that dictates the behaviour of its citizens regarding the national flag and anthem. (Note - it has only been the national anthem since 1930) I find it even more curious that people in the US get hot under the collar regarding their national flag when they are quite happy for it to be displayed on crockery, undergarments and toilet paper. I would have thought that given the alleged reverence that is supposed to be attached to the flag, the notion of using it to clean one's backside is the height of desecration - even followers of Islam would refrain from acting in such a manner.
But it is extraordinarily anthopocentric as a view of the universe.
Yeah, but it sounded deep. To him.
Keep telling yourself that. It won't matter at all. You are not qualified to make that call. Human evolution is the best documented science there is. That is taught in every Christian college and university in the world that teaches life sciences. Everything evolves. Christianity evolved from ancient sun worshiping cults.
who cares what the bible says?
Given the sir at the beginning of your name I am now imagining you slapping me across the face with a metal gauntlet and I pick up a morning star to acknowledge my acceptance of your duel.
I?ll agree with the first sentence. Me pointing out the hypocrisy I see in society still having an effect on myself due to being a product of that society is not necessarily out of conformism, but out of admitting the reality of the experiences I have had.
I take all written history with a big grain of salt. Knowing that history is written by the victors I trust very little of it. In the rare case that it is really important to know what happened I try to read multiple accounts and draw my own conclusion. I recently read a book about the American revolution, written by English historians not long after the event. They paint a very different picture. If you go back before the industrial revolution most history is questionable.
Just like Catholicism.
In part because those in the diaspora and who vastly outnumbered those in the Holy Land. It has been estimated the Jews in Alexandria Egypt out numbered the entire population of the Holy Land. Rather like today where the Jews in New York outnumber those in Israel.
So uhhhh... this SCOTUS ruling is a little troubling on that baker guy
Which is why newspapers are written on a 5th grade level.....
To be honest, I just get tired of the bickering and yabbuts.

True, but many of these job positions remain open, or have high turnover because they are not desirable employment. Whether it's low wages, poor benefits, or minimal hours of work.
I would never want someone who has contempt for me making me anything.
The soldiers that created Israel cut their teeth in WWII AND in the conflicts within the Palestinian territory between WWI and WWII. They were quite competent soldiers long before the war began and they had sympathetic support from abroad which helped tremendously.
Nope, there are so many problems which these religions didn't solve at all nor they helped to eliminate it. Like for instance, did these religions helped to eliminate slavery ever..!
The four fundamental forces is just our best explanation to date though: let's suppose we find evidence for which the best explanation is a fifth force... would you stick to four forces and ascribe the 5th force as supernatural? What if we find evidence eliminating combining two of the forces as varieties of the same thing, and giving us 3? Would you stick to the dated model?
