salute the red, white, and blue! (just not in that order)
Stuck in a backwater town, hundreds of miles from any kind of cultural acceptance in service as the primary caretaker to his disabled mother for the past 15 years.
No, where did you get that idea? I have explained repeatedly in this thread that I believe in God the Father, Jesus, His Son and the Holy Spirit. I believe in Jesus' cruxification and resurrection. I believe that a person receives the Holy Spirit upon acceptance of Jesus' sacrifice for us. I have experienced the Love of Jesus.
So, you agree that your pre-conceptions of god could be wrong, and the verse it correct, that god could not stop iron chariots?
When beer is a buck you can join in.
All you did is point out that there are additional definitions of faith that don't apply to the definition I was using. To keep pointing out that there are additional definitions when I've already indicated the definition that I'm using is rather ridiculous.
LOL, thank for proving my point. Europe during the dark ages are full with fantastic accomplishments like :
It sounds like you need to work on your boundaries.

Jesus sacrificed the flesh as we must do too. Material things didn't come become God, as they can't for us too. He wasn't poor. Read duet 28. Its not a poor mans covenant. All the blessings are Christs for being the only one to satisfy it. Well...that was the plan for us too. We get it by being in covenant with Jesus. See how that works? Its only in the heart you 'give it all away '. If God asks you too? Done. You know? Gods not poor, materially or spiritually etc. God cares about the spirit first, soul (renewed mind, perfected will, emotions in check), then the physical down the line.
This is the first I?m hearing about the 1 Corinthians 15 creed material. I just took a look at a scholarly paper and it gets pretty specialized. Hey, here I was thinking that the first historical Christian Evodius was pretty cool, along with Ignatius of Antioch, along with their acquaintance with John the Apostle.
Oh, your photo! You?ll learn how to put up your photo. It?s pretty simple. You just go to disqus settings and beside the avatar icon you select ?choose a method ? then you are prompted to upload from your computer.
What religion do I follow again? Prove it by quoting me.
The first one is a classic head wringer.... I always use too much dip... I need to invent a dip stretcher...
Jim Crow laws actually prevented businesses from serving blacks and whites in the same spaces. There were several business owners who talked about this later, that they would have made more money without the laws. Most of these laws forced them to create separate but equal spaces. That's double the effort, and less of the profits.
I am revolving around the internet declaring Jesus Christ risen from the dead. testifying that I am a witness of his resurrection by the manifestation of his Spirit to me after hearing and believing the testimony of Jesus Christ whose love is demonstrated in his crucifixion death burial and resurrection from the dead..
False. The only folks who think people are born homosexual are those who are ignorant of the science of biology. There is no such thing as the science of "sexual orientation."
Eugenics is what you are promoting plain and simple. Same thing that Hitler and other Fascists promoted.
We are discussing metaphysics, are we not? Existential questions that science cannot answer; that seems to be the point of the OP (I wonder if you even read it). I offered reasoning, philosophical, metaphysical in nature. There are scientists out there that believe the same as I do, and I have posted a few articles to to back that up. I have asserted nothing more than that in this discussion, so when you deflect to the age old neo-atheist stalling point of 'prove God exists,' it reeks of a lack of substance to your position.
Agree. Short of something incredibly morally reprehensible with no indication of repentance or willingness to seek forgiveness, I don't see any reason why a church should banish anyone. churches are made for sinners.
