9 of the 10 countries right now that punish homosexual acts by death are Muslim-majority. (Only Nigeria isn't).
Not harsh just direct
Maybe you believe that, I sure as hell don't.
And test scripture too. Which brings us back full circle to whether to always read it literally or not. ;-)
Thank you. I'm not sure what happened, but I feel like I was having a nightmare! It's like I was being stalked by a half zombie half raccoon.
That the indoctrination exists, and is powerful is obvious to those who went through it and overcame it. It's power is evident in the millions who went through it and didn't overcome it. I know many believers (I think a clear majority) who don't recognize they were indoctrinated, and thus dismiss the claim. Most of those folks seem to "believe" but their faith is mindless.
You will hate me for pointing this out, but we can't expect men to take the lead when it comes to dating and proposals when we have been telling them recently that the playing field should be equal. If you want to get married, ask him. The only reason you don't want to ask him is because of traditional romance expectations. In 2018 we've eschewed the old school Disney princess story of the handsome prince finding/rescuing us and now want to be the hero of our own story (for the most part). Elsa is fine being single, Moana handled stuff herself, and Dany asked Jon Snow to bend the knee. 2018 means stepping up and asking the guy if he hasn't asked you.

Words for god are commonplace outside of the american tradition.

I go with the Bible for some pretty amazing knowledge (or revelation, even if it were revealed as a dream or vision):

Doesn't really matter that you may think Jesus was less influential than Muhammad, since you don't know much history.
Yes, I'd agree the Bible is metaphor with
I heart you for this post... sigh, the White House is such an eye sore now. I hate walking near it.
Yep - giant snowflake tears.
Yes it may happen and most will denounce it not promote it !
Does sound mouth-watering, all things I like...lol
This isn't the topic so stop it.
Exactly but she's in denial
Fair enough. You asked for contemporary historians, clearly the fact that there is none does not prove his non existence as is the case with Hannibal.
I didn't do what?

He never met The living long-haired radical socialist Reform Rabbi The Christ legend was based on. He had a heat-stroke induced temporal lobe epileptic fit in which he hallucinated his own version. He set up a rival movement to the real followers back in Jerusalem and for a few decades both flourished until about 70CE when Rome sacked Jerusalem and killed the leaders who knew "Jesus" so Paul's version spread wider and to non Jews until it became the Roman State Religion with a popes and Cardinals and bishops and Priests telling people what to think. Not the Gnostic (Know god yourself) movement it started out as.
it's a french loanword: "
But that was years ago. I assure you that I am a lot more responsible now.
