What makes them wrong? Why are there laws? Where did the morality to create these laws come from?
I see engineers as dealing with the facts in front of them, but not delving into bigger questions, nor looking for alternative explanations. More like "how can we ....based on what we already know". There are a different breed than biologists or physicists. Not that engineers are not smart and necessary, just extremely focused on things already known.
One of the big problems causing the huge divisions is everyone goes with the "I think" and not "What does the Bible teach."
I guess I should not comment on anything without a source that Matt approves of.
Lmao! I this guy didn't even bother to come up with anything as clever. All I remember him saying was he needed to be comfortable, 1st class wasn't comfortable enough.
I agree with you in that in a natural form, perfection would be completely impossible, the only exception being that of something beyond nature, of God.
You already admitted that science doesn't mention your god. If he isn't mentioned, he isn't necessary. It's like you can't admit this.
Exactly! Why is so wrong about slavery from an Atheist perspective? It makes no sense that argument keeps getting dragged up?
Never seen it.
I cannot site a single objective moral. I have never seen anyone else do so either.
That's a picture of one of the victims, FYI.
Yeah, no one knows about Muslim terrorists or that Muslim terrorists exist. In fact, I'm pretty sure I heard CNN say that one of the 9/11 hijackers was a Christian accountant from Cleveland named Bruno McNulty.
That's hilarious. The most extreme cooling on Earth is going on in the Midwest and South.
In reality it is a hereditary dictatorship, but it is under the more general flag of Stalinism. A very strong command and control structure under one party, with a core communist philosophy.
"Its islamophobic to ask why countries like Canada are literally pandering to the Islamic faith?
Through actions or AUCTIONS....... cause they be different things with different outcomes ... :- )
Often times, playing arm-chair designer isn't really fruitful. In old days, when medicine was lacking they thought all kinds of faults with human body only to find out it's useful one way or another. I had my tonsils taken out as a child just because they were swollen. Well, it turns out, they are very useful for immunity as well and I got sick a lot as a child probably because they were removed. I think your 10% chance is exaggerated. I know very few people--actually only one person who had his appendix removed because it burst. I'm not saying the body is perfect--we are imperfect beings, but to say it was designed faulty shows arrogance and ignorance. The human body has done amazingly over the years while subjected to many generations of copying and able to survive so long. It's just pure amazing. By all means, if you can design something better or even make the current design better, have at it! You will be a super rich individual.
