Nope. Just pointing out the lack of logic in the argumentum ad populum.
Good chart...have a link?
I had overweight cousins. They had overweight children. Now they (my cousins) have diabetes, cholesterol issues, and have had their stomachs stapled and breast reductions. Their children can look forward to that. This is not a genetics thing. Every time you eat at their house it is more than enough food and all processed and fattening. They actually bring cheese cakes and pastry when they visit. They are very very sweet women but they are fat by their own means. They wear Big Girl clothing and body positive stuff but they have had numerous surgeries because they are big girls. I don't think we should be mean to people and call them fat, but I also don't think we need to praise people's bravery because they were wiling to show their rolls on Instagram. There, I've said it. I'm mean.
Nope. It's necessary. In a way this is my confessional. I know I did wrong. I just have to figure out why I'm being such a sh*thead.
You can very well construct a system of concepts and accompanying words that doesn't contain repetition/circularity by disallowing synonyms and by refusal to define some words any further (rooting concepts in experience/intuition). Doesn't mean such synonyms do not exist - they do and it's easy to point out. So how about you trying to define potential and actuality that are free from such circularity? Good luck.
From that web site:
Public education has a few simple tasks. They are to teach our children about reading and writing, and basic mathematics and are to give them information so they can function effectively in society. The rest of it is basically daycare.
She will never ever want to be accepted as a religious Jew :) She knows its not necessary( to be religious) to be considered a Jew. Yet! She also knows and care about not being seen as a Christian also. Why? That means total rejection(from the Jewish community) of any Jewish claims. That she will not accept, so she will toe the line (duty) of the Jewish principal or belief of rejecting any divinity to YESHUA and reject any Notion of G-D taking on human form. Shalom
Well said... Thank you, will do so to see if we are able to go forward in this marriage
Not sure where the disconnect is. I know not all Christians are conservative.
Yes, that turn the other cheek, do unto others.., and eschew pride are pretty offputting. Oh yes, as you put it they are all crazy too.
Oh, more like the BLM demonstrators burning cars. Got it.
This is talking in circles. I appreciate you as a fellow being and there is nothing left to say that's not repetitive. You will never come to a lot of wonderful truths in this world because you already have a closed mind. You go right ahead thinking this way: that there is no reason to think the universe was created. How then do you explain how you and I, the earth, all that's in it and all the universe came to be. That is a "lot" of tangible, touchable evidence. I know what I see in this world that you can't explain humanly. You can't and I can't! That is a starting place for all truth. The car you drive was undoubtedly created by a creator. You went to the car lot knowing someone had designed that car you are about to touch, sit in, and drive. I'd love to see car parts fly up and just accidentally come together. I could charge admission and be rich! Hey, hey!!! People expect me to think our existence which is much more complicated than that car is, could be here anymore than that car, without someone creating it! And just because you can't explain it with human reasoning, and you can't, doesn't mean I'm wrong anymore than you think your wrong because you can't prove your ideas one way or another. I have proof to suit myself and that is what my eyes and brain and common sense tell me. You come up with a better explanation, one that makes sense to me! Otherwise, I wish you well and thanks for your time!!!
The "bigotry" argument is a straw man argument. Inherently dishonest faithunreasoner.
Tell me who's going to win the Stanley Cup in 2022 and I'll tell you what the deficit will be in 2022. Same level of predictive probability. Way too much water to pass under the bridge between now and then. Every assumption will be out the door a week from now no matter who's elected,
You are profoundly ignorant about science. We see this with every post you make.
"Many find their truths in science books.
I was late 2 days in a row because of construction... My personal procedure is if you are going to be late bring donuts. I need to leave earlier... Ughhhhj.

If you could be any 80's pop icon, who would you choose?
I just find it funny that people are so outraged by what SHE said, but those same people couldn't care less that their president was caught talking about grabbing women by the crotch.
"You have the witness of God himself..."
I've struggled with depression my entire life and I've worked my entire life. So do millions of other people.
And over diagnosed.
Darn Clinton! She ruins everything! /sarcasm
Now, I need to make a trip to Detroit!!
The exact nature of the divinity in/of Jesus was an the debate in early Christian councils. And it divided the church irreversibly. There were four views. Arian: that Jesus was basically human that enjoyed special gifts from God and a special message from God the father. Dyphysite: which became the Latin and Orthodox view that Jesus had two completely separate person[alities] that co-existed. This depended upon an element of Roman law that recognized a persona, something like a soul, but was untranslatable into Aramaic. The Monophysite view: what most eastern churches adopted, especially the Archbishops at Antioch and Alexandria, that Jesus had one special unified "soul" or "persona" that was completely unified and could not be separated. And the Nestorian view: That view predominated outside of the Roman Empire in Parthia and mostly Iraq.which said there were two completely separate phases which might appear appear at various times. So at one time Jesus appeared totally Human and at others totally divine. But probably not both appearing at any one time, although that is not clear.
A father and his two children are kidnapped by an evil man. The man gives the father a knife and says "Kill one of your children, you choose which, or I will kill both".
and there are some very reasonable people on here. Obviously, none of us think we will convince the other but just maybe, we can help some of those who are questioning?
You are a presumptuous git, aren't you?
Everything he does well is exaggerated.
