There was a big bang. It is a myth that anyone ever really said that was the beginning. It was an event, with proof. But we don't know what there was before. There is no denying the big bang. And this is not incompatible with belief in God. This is simply incompatible with your man-made life rules called religion. God is likely very angry with religion.
Only time will tell, but Trump's policies are an extension of Obama's, which were an extension of Reagan's. What we witness in politics is an exhibition like pro wrestling. Both the heel and the hero are paid by the same employer, and a lot of people refuse to see it's fake because so many emotional buttons have been pushed. But when you look at the data, only the top 20% of the country has seen a rise in wages since 1980. Everyone else is being eaten alive.
So what was it under Obama, when it was talk loudly and curl into a ball softly?
I guess it always seemed arrogant to me, to think I was some sort of "center of attention" of the universe, or a deity. Thinking our species is a "pinnacle of creation" smacks of the same sort of desperate need to feel special.
It wouldn't solve the problem.
I knew you were a catholic school girl!
yup, blame her first and then mention all of Clinton's brains..........lol
I've been telling him this for months.
That's just trifling.
That's true, and why I didn't block her. I find her amusing actually.
You are making the same error as JP. You are filling in missing data with your own guesswork and then treating to story as complete.
But please, do tell us. What supporting evidence? What historical accuracy? What historical documents?
I think it's good to support with factual information (links). I place the onus on those making the claim.
Just as they continue on their preaching.
It is shown right there. Jesus was meant to be sacrificed. Without those men who killed him, no sacrifice.
The question in a nutshell is "Given all the evidence that nature is the result of a blind natural process rather than deliberate, forward-looking design why attribute that to the direct handiwork of an intelligent designer?".
Tried to block myself....it didn't work.
"Look! Over there! Shiny object!"
Yeah, the (often off topic) long discussion between discussants aren't what counts to a success but the number of participants overall. And, maybe, the number of people who's thoughts have been altered even if they didn't participate in the discussion. That's a thing you can't measure in numbers.
"The correctness of the belief is not the issue. Deflection."
