There are two claims that get conflated. 1. A male Jew by the name Jesus existed in first century Palestine. 2. The New Testament Gospels are an accurate account of his words and deeds. Accepting the first claim does not mean you accept the second claim and vise versa. Most people do not have an issue with the first claim but the second claim is extraordinary so the evidence needs to be equally extraordinary.
Hawking has it backward, "One can't prove that God doesn't exist but science makes God "NECESSARY".
What do you mean? We have a role in it. The truck has two options, not just go with the weighted pedal. We didn't have to side with this alternate partnership...sin. Its, stick with God, but people refuse to do that.
Certainly, "fortress mentalities" have been named and spoken against. Most here are talking about "evidence", and showing love, as signs of the Divine; love, which St. Paul says, is more important than faith, even. I think it can sometimes seem a little difficult to get right. What is love? Identifying evil can be important, via discernment, but there can be a point where we let ourselves be ruled by it, possibly. Causing the focus to be on evil rather than love.
Better to just accept & move on, I know!
Does he? Link?
The Gospels were not written before the Epistles, and they were not written by the Apostles of Jesus. Your dogmatic blinders will not allow you to accept modern biblical scholarship.
And when (not if) a pattern emerges, the baker will be held up on charges of violating that nondiscrimination law again. He won't have any legal defense.
Obama economy still strong despite Trump?
Well done - you have cast religious superstition aside. Forget about progressive Christianity. Its dishonest. Same with Christian universalism. Try Christian atheism if outright atheism scares you.
Your laugh is just manic. My opinions are informed.
Shame we can't say the same about your post.
I?m creeped out and annoyed that fb is showing advertisements for bowflex trainer when I?ve just purchased one.
"There's no might about it - if he hasn't already done so, he will."
It is true that there are benefits of religion such as the PMA. However hose benefits seem to come at the cost of living a lie. Additionallly those benefits can also be achieved without religion.
So all you know how to do is copy and paste? That's exactly the same thing you said earlier. I responded to that already. Do you not know how to come up with a new response that isn't already pre-written for you?
Thank you! :)
Did he? Or is that someone else putting words in his mouth?
Shipping it to Afghanistan would be better since odds are he'd never see it again. Plus too much time would have passed for the doctors to reattach it to his person.
Aw man.... on of my clients got turned back in a 5th wheel on his way to Florida with his wife and kids. All because of a few grams when he was a kid. I hope that when it becomes legal in Canada On July 1st that they?ll pardon everyone that was so wrongly treated.

More "responsible" gun owners LOSING their weapons!
The experts in this case are practicing cosmologists who can trace back the evolution of the universe to 3 microseconds after the big bang and can tell you a great deal about what happened thereafter, but not much before. They publish in peer-reviewed journals. They have PhDs in their field. They have reams of data and theories that best explain the data, better than anyone else. They agree on the big bang and agree that there are many issues outstanding about which they don't know much, such as dark energy, dark matter, and what happened prior to 3 microseconds.
The inherent differences in the nature of God as depicted in the New Testament (e.g. Father, Son, Holy Spirit), and the Koran (e.g. Tawhid) are irreconcilable. If I remember correctly, Muslims see Christians as polytheists because of their 'pluralistic' view of the Trinity. A much simpler approach would be to see that Christians accept Jesus as God, and Muslims view that as blasphemy, as it would be a denial of God's oneness, and a denial of His nature (God does not beget).
