The Bible has a creator while the Veddas have a disintegrator. Who's to say one is right and the other wrong?
Post the whole context of the verse.
Care to describe what is so beyond the laws of nature of the quantum world?
Our constitution only says Govt. can't make one denomination the religion of the state. They can't say you have to be Baptist, or Catholic or any other denomination. At one time, the several states did exactly that. Separation of Church and State does not mean separation of God and State.
lol That you think a lack of religion is the cause of school shootings.
Good Morning, Just take all of these excess degrees and store them up for winter. I do that and enjoy both seasons.
That's good to know. Explain to me how it's my fault it happened.
So you admit that you do not know what would NOT have been considered "part of nature" at one time and that you cannot explain how a cat can be dead and alive at the same time. All typical of a self-declared winner who knows absolutely nothing about what he keyboards.
As according to the Christian religion, yes. Other religions have other narratives, some of which do not espouse the "fallen world" ideology.
Are you kidding? How about all those prophecies that are documented as coming true... conveniently documented after said prophecy came true I know... but that's one smart cookie of a God!
Yes, you were told to say it after working to show you wanted that to be your allegiance. Congrats and welcome, countryman.
SoS. TY for pointing out my error. I think that a child of average intellect would have figured that one out. I guess you have an vested interest in pointing out the flaws of others as you avoid dealing with your own profound issues.
We look great sans clothing too ... it's all about the lighting. ;)
Says the village idiot
I cannot really argue with that logic
I don't think that is a good definition for agnosticism. An agnostic does not think it's possible to know for a fact whether or not there is a god or gods, by the definition given of that god or those gods. He or she wouldn't give up reason for faith. I mean, if you have evidence why would you need faith? You're just accepting the evidence.
I love men in glasses.
Enough with the "troll" labels
No they weren't. The owner foresaw a problem.
I would argue that the "big picture" beliefs are not as common as we think. For example, many people believe they have been abducted by aliens. The description of the aliens often reflect the cultural zeitgest of the time. So, pointing to where there is overlap in these beliefs, doesn't change the fact the the epistemology for these beliefs isn't reliable. Moreover, there are natural explanations for these experiences.
I'm really gross now. To the moon and back for him. I am excited each and every time that he calls to say he's ten minutes from home and we've known each other for almost 4 years. My mother says he'll be the death of me. Maybe.
Actually you can refuse to do any of those things as long as the refusal is based on a religious objection to the event. That is different from refusing to do something because of the nature of the person asking.
Use the metric system... It seems bigger.
The personal invites come by way of pigeon.
I'm looking at it from a global perspective. Not a "US in the past 7 decades" perspective.
