No problem. The US can always file for bankruptcy.
AL. Perhaps the problem is that religion tends to be divisive and not unifying, it separates, isolates and insulates some self professed special, chosen and blessed people from the sinful, evil and godless people. Religions teach children that they are worthless sinners that need to believe that the rewards and punishments of the gods ?Conditional Love ? is superior to simply being true to oneself and ones own nature. The religious parents promote this to control the kids ,
OH, GOOD GRIEF!
Most pathetic post of the week. Congratulations.
I saw that more as a footnote :)
Yes, unless you construe "divinity" very broadly. Is there any inherent problem in that?
Why didn't you answer the OP's question?
Still unwilling to accept anything other than your version. ??
"but since when is a condom breaking"
And yet, over and over we ask you deniers to have the balls to back up your claim that AGW is a fraud, a lie, a hoax, or just plain wrong. And after thousands of requests, not a single solitary denier, like you, has had the balls to step up and knock one out of the park. Not only do you choose to be ignorant, but you wear that ignorance as a badge of honor.
Maybe he's in a different climate. Or weather. Or something.
This is going to sound sarcastic but I swear I'm sincerely asking:
Now who's being deliberately obtuse?
Me too. Must be hanging with the right crowd.
Don't backtrack now trumpets; you get what you vote for
My guess is there are a hell of a lot of things that piss you off.
We have epistles from Peter, John, Jude and James that are all ascribed to people who are believed to have known Jesus while he lived. Two of them were his siblings.
That would not bother me as he did not perform any miracles at that time (if we follow what is written in NT).
No one gives a shit about you (((troll))).
Fact is Conservatives dominate this list.
This isn?t true and didn?t happen.
Hi, thanks for the welcome. Well, if we understand Scripture in the way it is written, and take the words as they were spoken, then '...to the end of time' means, the end of this worldly existence (in which we experience life in terms of 'time'). At the Ascension, we are told that He will come back, which is in a universal way, as mentioned by another poster, with the use of the Book of Revelation, and acknowledgment of the Final Judgement, whereby there is the separation of (figurative) sheep and goats; in fact, 'universal' does make sense in this context, because just as we experience faith in an individual, personal way, we are also a collective, a Church, a family, a Body of people, and all have to be gathered.
And what about those tribal cultures where the members don't regard themselves as beings and other tribes as subhuman?
Well, on the cross Christ said that the good thief would be with him that day in paradise. So, as of Christ's death, the gates of paradise were open who confessed Christ as God incarnate.
I can't relate but I suggest you do your best to repress it. Telling your partner would be the right thing but it could impede his career and therefore possibly his fulfillment. Please do whatever you can to avoid that creepy dude at all costs
I still think we're talking about two different things. Hopefully I can clarify what I'm referring to. I think the first sentence in the Wikipedia article is helpful here: "Biblical inspiration is the doctrine in Christian theology that the authors and editors of the Bible were led or influenced by God with the result that their writings may be designated in some sense the word of God."
So military men complaining about the inequality is a commonplace thing?
Both lost in that the issue both sides wanted decided wasn?t.
