Silly bitch thinks it's "winning".
Your selectively hyper-skeptical doubts are your problem, not mine.
Now, about loving thy neighbour. Again, the Islamic concept of neighbour limits it to Muslims only. Muhammad attacked EVERY non-Muslim neighbour he had, and by the time he died, none of his opponents in Arabia were left alive, unless they fled or submitted to Islam.
I ain't no Bama...lol.
Exactly - this life is both transitory and the result of spectacular luck. So make the most of it.
I know that's right
Things were normal for the last 8 years. You guys couldnt handle it.
Lol. Yeah, kinda makes a statement. we as a non religious household love Christmas. It is what it is and a greta time to be with family. To each his own and F the PCers who think it's offensive. I have tons of Muslim clinets and the only people offended by Merry Christmas are a certain kind of lefty. Not that I'm right. I just don't like be told what to do or think.
No real problem. Part of the learning curve. As the person grows spiritually they begin to sense the power available and to feel their own increased spiritual strength. At this point the learner is in a state where ego grows faster than humility. Some never grow out of that stage. Some do and obtain a higher balance as a result.
Love can absolutely be quantified and studied.
Get back to me when you can create life from the ground up. Or call a universe from nothing. Then your assessment of God's intelligence might mean something about Him rather than simply saying something about you.
That is nonsense. There weren't enough Christians in Rome in 64CE for the Romans to even notice, let alone blame a fire on, and at that, the Romans couldn't tell the difference between a Christian and a Jew to begin with. Pliny, the Younger was basically chief of police in Rome in the late 1st century, but knew so little about Christians that when he was governor of Bythnia in 110CE, he had to write to Trajan to find out what to do with the.m. Pliny knew of no persecution of Christians in the 1st century. There were no major persecutions of Christians in the Roman Empire, ever.
Do you believe there is no God?
I'm not surprised.
David Ulansey (the author from the link you included) even indicates the notion of Mithra being born from a rock (or at least that this was the tradition. He wrote on that same page that you cited: "But caves are precisely hollows within the rocky earth, which suggests that the rock from which Mithras is born is meant to represent the Mithraic cave as seen from the outside."
Wow, great commitment to your health!! I?ve had heart surgery, as well. A PFO closure. I always say every day you move it?s your thank-you note to god for giving you your body in a new day!
Empathy only goes so far, I haven't heard of one teenage girl shooting up a school
Careful about your metaphor here. Firing a gun into a crowd is more akin to rape then sex, since the crowd definitely did not consent to be fired upon. And would you assert that the person who gets shot should be refused medical treatment to cure the wound because the wound had no choice in being made, and being shot has consequences that you shouldn't be able to cheat your way out of through a medical procedure?
Certainly ignorant of ridiculous conspiracy theories like "Obama kept his past hidden".
They married the daughters of men, the Nodites.
Agreed, although I'm not sure what you mean by "silence others". Can you give an example of how others might be silenced?
My attempt: Stupid people deserve to continue breathing! I cant believe i said that with a straight face!
Can someone believe in nothing? I have all kinds of beliefs so I don't know what that means.
No, you don't.
He became a Messiah to the Gentiles,( Anointed or Appointed ? ) and then became a god head. ?? ??
No, you could start with being honest and rational.
I can't understand naming it like...are you gonna talk to it?
To put you into a different perspective... Your morning is always some ones evening...
You didn't answer the question. Why should the Central Americans get preferential treatment as compared with Indians and Chinese? A favourite race?
:) A printer as in a printing press? I imagine crushing to be involved.
Is that backed up by any data from widespread studies.
Please note (along with my question marks ;) that I prefaced my original post with "Unknown.", and "but my opinion is...". I'm not making any categorical claims, Dr. SS. :) Do you really have a PhD in applied physics? Interesting... and major kudos if it's true. I will take your word for it, as you take the Bible's Word for it(self).
And you would love to find a reason to say Trump left that carcass on the doorstep.
Josephus refers to the Pharisees, Sadducees and the Essenes as "philosophies" - they didn't really operate like political parties. Also, for Jews living during this time (particularly in Jerusalem), there wasn't really a distinction between political and religious. Those who held political power were also religious leaders. They operated like a theocracy. They never would have identified any distinction between political or religious the way we do today. Every action they took was in light of their religious views, so even political decisions were made with their religious views in mind.
